It is our very own Derby Mini Rugby Festival tomorrow with matches from 11am to 2pm. Ten rugby clubs will field 46 teams from under 7s to under 12s. All the Dragons that are available should come for 10am as we will be splitting the boys into two squads and having a little warm up and drills. Then each squad will play three pool games (Pool A: Derby, Nuneaton, Matlock, Newark - Pool B: Derby, Burton, Ilkeston, Melbourne). After those pool games the top two teams in each group will play off in semi-finals, winners playing head-to-head for the cup (and medals). Under 12s are on the main Derby pitch all day.
Parking will be £3 per car and it will be busy, so be prepared to queue or park and stride. Those who volunteered for car parking duties need to be at the club for 8.30am. Pitch markers and other volunteers please be there for 9am.
